The mind never becomes tired, but sometimes it becomes bored with the “food” it gets."

Computer experts use the acronym GIGO -- garbage in, garbage out -- to illustrate the fact that the computer can process only the information it is given. The same is true with your mind. If you feed it healthful, nourishing "food," it will grow strong and agile, but if you restrict it to a regular diet of mental "junk food," your mind will become unhealthy, negative, and unproductive. It will return to you what you put into it. Feed your mind a balanced, nourishing diet. Study information from a variety of fields to help you keep up with the latest trends. You may find that the best ideas for your business come from a totally unrelated area.
Control your own mind, and you may never be controlled by the mind of another.

The mind is the most powerful weapon known to man. It simply cannot be controlled or contained by an outside force, however formidable that force may at first appear. Throughout history, tyrants have tried to control those who opposed them, but eventually these rulers discovered the power of the imagination was far greater than the threat of the sword. As Victor Hugo said, "An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come."

CAUTION: Don't be fooled by disguise! How to Identify a Venomous Snake: Spring is almost here. There has been much confusion on the appearance of what appears to be a harmless snake, and what is actually deadly, highly venomous snake. Snake bites are at an all time high. BE CAREFUL! What may appear to be a safe pet, just might be looking to fool you with it's cuteness and disguise, just looking to spread its venom.

"I'm selfish, impatient, I get jealous and I'm a little bit insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." Marilyn Monroe
Regardless if your thoughts are positive or negative, they will produce a cause and effect. Be aware of what you are thinking as the mind has no boundaries! "If you know your own mind, you know enough to keep it always positive."

You may not fully understand the complex process that causes electricity to be generated and transmitted to your home. But you understand very well how to apply and use it to illuminate your home, power your computer, and perform hundreds of other essential tasks. The same is true of your mind. No one understands the incredibly complex workings of the brain; we know only that when we use our mind in a certain way, we achieve a desired result. If we think positively, we achieve positive results.

What's real? Fact vs. Myth
"Change begins and ends with you!"
Michael Jackson-Man In The Mirror lyrics ...

Do you allow the art of decision making to rule your time?

A quick decision usually denotes an alert mind.

Successful people are decisive. They don't agonize over decisions and thereby miss out on a great opportunity. They gather the relevant information, discuss alternatives with advisers whose opinions they respect, and then make a decision and get on with it. Indecision creates the worse kind of paralysis and, left unattended, can permanently damage you and your organization. If you have trouble making decisions, remember that there are few decisions that are irreversible. If you later discover that you were wrong, correct your course and move on.

“Your ability to use the principle of autosuggestion will depend, very largely, upon your capacity to concentrate upon a given desire until that desire becomes a burning obsession.” Napoleon Hill

"That which you resist stays." Dr. David Hawkins: Physician & Lecturer... By resisting, you are validating—which makes it real. And permanent. Someone who is 30 pounds overweight needs to visualize himself as a thinner, more fit person. And over time he naturally becomes that very person. The second he thinks of himself and visualizes himself as an overweight person, he will be. Your mind is only capable of honesty—whatever you feed it, becomes.

There is something about truth that makes it easily recognizable by all who are searching for it with open minds.

Cookie mogul Wally Amos is fond of quoting the saying, "The mind is like a parachute. It functions best when opened." When you open your mind to the possibilities, objectively analyze information and refuse to allow your personal preferences and biases to influence your judgment, you will be able to perceive great truths that have been overlooked by others. A closed mind, though, will cause you to miss out on some of life's greatest offerings. If you find yourself disputing the facts, or if you keep attempting to revise them to support your beliefs, ask yourself, ?Why am I so unwilling to accept this information? Am I being logical, or am I simply allowing my emotions to cloud my judgment?? The worst mistake you may ever make is trying to persuade yourself to accept a false truth. It is inappropriate to try to fool others, but when you fool yourself, disaster is sure to follow.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”
Marianne Williamson

More than half of all U.S. businesses are based at home. These companies often are dismissed as quaint hobbyist ventures, but new research suggests that's a mistake. An estimated 6.6 million home-based enterprises provide at least half of their owners' household income.

"Before us lie two paths -- honesty and dishonesty. The shortsighted embark on the dishonest path; the wise on the honest. For the wise know the truth; in helping others we help ourselves; and in hurting others we hurt ourselves. Character overshadows money, and trust rises above fame. Honesty is still the best policy." Napoleon Hill
