In the workshop of your mind, you can visualize things that have never been. It is said that Albert Einstein visualized how the universe might look if he were riding astride a beam of light through infinity. Then he worked out the mathematics to support his theory of relativity. You can use the power of your imagination to visualize solutions to difficult problems, to develop new ideas, and to see yourself achieving the goals you have set for yourself.

YOU MUST GET BUSY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT GOING THE EXTRA MILE.

It’s well and good to feel as though you have changed the attitude with which you render extra service, but if that service is in truth no more than anyone else’s, then you aren’t doing yourself much good. You need to examine your co-workers and competitors to understand just what it is that will make you stand out. If there are job performance standards, exceed them. If you’re fulfilling a contract, make sure you offer more than you promised. You cannot confine extra-mile service to your work alone. You must make it part of your philosophy for dealing with every person you encounter. Imagine how others will be delighted to find that you are the type of person who not only does what is promised but even delivers more. The true benefit of going the extra mile is in teaching yourself to strive always for better and greater achievement in all that you do.

In the faint light of the attic, an old man, tall and stooped, bent his great frame and made his way to a stack of boxes that sat near one of the little half-windows. Brushing aside a wisp of cobwebs, he tilted the top box toward the light and began to carefully lift out one old photograph album after another. Eyes once bright but now dim searched longingly for the source that had drawn him here.

It began with the fond recollection of the love of his life, long gone, and somewhere in these albums was a photo of her he hoped to rediscover. Silent as a mouse, he patiently opened the long buried treasures and soon was lost in a sea of memories. Although his world had not stopped spinning when his wife left it, the past was more alive in his heart than his present aloneness.

Setting aside one of the dusty albums, he pulled from the box what appeared to be a journal from his grown son’s childhood. He could not recall ever having seen it before, or that his son had ever kept a journal. Why did Elizabeth always save the children’s old junk? he wondered, shaking his white head.

Opening the yellowed pages, he glanced over a short reading, and his lips curved in an unconscious smile. Even his eyes brightened as he read the words that spoke clear and sweet to his soul. It was the voice of the little boy who had grown up far too fast in this very house, and whose voice had grown

fainter and fainter over the years. In the utter silence of the attic, the words of a guileless six-year-old worked their magic and

carried the old man back to a time almost totally forgotten.

Entry after entry stirred a sentimental hunger in his heart like the longing a gardener feels in the winter for the fragrance of spring flowers. But it was accompanied by the painful memory that his son’s simple recollections of those days were far different from his own. But how different?

Reminded that he had kept a daily journal of his business activities over the years, he closed his son’s journal and turned to leave, having forgotten the cherished photo that originally triggered his search.

Hunched over to keep from bumping his head on the rafters,

the old man stepped to the wooden stairway and made his descent,

then headed down a carpeted stairway that led to the den.

Opening a glass cabinet door, he reached in and pulled out an old business journal. Turning, he sat down at his desk and placed the two journals beside each other. His was leather-bound and engraved neatly with his name in gold, while his son’s was tattered and the name “Jimmy” had been nearly scuffed from its surface. He ran a long skinny finger over the letters, as though he could restore what had been worn away with time and use.

As he opened his journal, the old man’s eyes fell upon an inscription that stood out because it was so brief in comparison to other days.

In his own neat handwriting were these words:

Wasted the whole day fishing with Jimmy.

Didn’t catch a thing.

With a deep sigh and a shaking hand, he took Jimmy’s journal and

found the boy’s entry for the same day, June 4.

Large scrawling letters, pressed deeply into the paper, read:

Went fishing with my dad. Best day of my life.

The Real Power of Your Beliefs by John Assaraf

You have thousands of beliefs, both positive and negative, that cause you to perceive and act in certain ways, in your business life as well as in your personal life.

I came across this article by John Assaraf in May 2008. It is is complete alignment of how I think, act and live my life. These are the necessary steps to rid yourself of the barricade that has been surrounding you. I will teach you thru personal development, how to create the paradigm shifts so that, once and for all, you can design the life, the wealth, the abundance and prosperity that you deserve ... THAT WE ALL DESERVE!

The effects of your beliefs are not as abstract as you might think. You and I act in absolute accordance with what our internal beliefs are, and not with what we may want. We can override our beliefs temporarily using our will power, but I assure you that over the long haul the ‘internal’ image we have of our self will always win.

Let’s say you’re looking at a restaurant menu. You’ll make a decision and take action by ordering and eating the food that aligns with your beliefs about health and nutrition. The result of that decision will determine whether or not you’ll have an abundance of energy. It will determine, over a period of time, your external appearance. It will also determine your internal health.

As you can see, one small decision affects a whole range of things. Choosing improperly for long periods is a sure-fire route to a mediocre life. What you must consider is whether or not your beliefs can get you to the destination of your dreams. It is critical to evaluate the results in your life and to understand the true underlying cause that is creating those results.


Break Free From Your Past ... It's Not As Difficult As You May Think!


Perhaps you’ve heard about how elephants are trained to stand tied to a tiny stake in the ground, which they could easily pull up simply by using their considerable strength against the restraint. When an elephant is young, the trainer uses a heavy chain with a shackle around the calf’s ankle, which causes painful sores when the baby elephant tries to move. Within a short period of time, the animal is conditioned to recognize that pulling equals pain. As the elephant matures, the trainer can use a weaker and weaker tether because the elephant won’t test it, until a simple rope tied to a tent stake will keep this five-ton animal from roaming.


It’s likely that many of the beliefs you have today are acting like that weak rope, perhaps holding you in place and preventing you from going where you want to be. That’s why people stay in relationships that aren’t working, keep a job they don’t like, continue neglecting their health, and so on. The good news is you can change. You can break free. You can choose your beliefs and therefore change your results.

*Consciously choosing what to believe, whether it’s about health, religon, marriage, children, career, other people, or anything else gives those beliefs more weight, more meaning in your life.*


I chose to hold onto some of the beliefs I adopted when I was younger—being a risk-taker, trusting my instincts, believing in myself as a manager and even a visionary—and, of course, I decided to jettison those beliefs that were holding me back. Thinking I was not smart enough, that people didn’t like
me, and that I couldn’t trust anyone else were definitely not going to get me where I wanted to go. I realized, through the help of many mentors, that for anything in my life to change, I had to change. It works from the inside out, not from the outside in.

Ask yourself whether your most dearly held beliefs are serving you or not. Do they help you create the life of your dreams? Or do they limit you and the people you love? Remember that beliefs are like blinders for humans. They can be so powerful that they cause you to see only what’s in line with them. Yet they are not the Truth. They are just your perception of the truth, based on your past teachings, experiences, and evaluations.

INTENTION VS. ACTION ... The Best Of Both will Create Two Totally Different Outcomes

PROCRASTINATION IS THE BAD HABIT OF PUTTING OFF UNTIL THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY.

For an achiever, perhaps the most dangerous, most destructive habit of all is procrastination, for it robs you of your initiative. When you put things off once, it’s easier to put them off again, until the habit is so firmly ingrained that it cannot be easily broken.

Sadly, the effects of the habit of procrastination are also cumulative. Its cure is obvious-action. You’ll be surprised how quickly you begin to feel better about yourself and your situation when you get going on something-anything. As British prime minister and author Benjamin Disraeli said, "Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action."


THE HABITUAL PROCRASTINATOR IS ALWAYS AN EXPERT CREATOR OF ALIBIS.


If you are so inclined, you can always find dozens of reasons why something can’t or should not be done-and precious few why it should or could. It is far easier to rationalize that it’s too difficult, too expensive, or too time-consuming than to accept the idea that if we are willing to work hard enough, smart enough, and long enough we can accomplish anything. Instead of making a commitment, we make up an alibi. If you find that you frequently invent excuses for why you didn’t do something or have a million reasons why something didn’t work out as planned, it’s time for a reality check. Stop explaining and start doing!

INTENTION VS. ACTION ... The Best Of Both will Create Two Totally Different Outcomes

So let's talk about this. Intention is something that we all have. For example, I intend to get to the gym today, or I will definitely get to that tomorrow .... You all know what I am referring to.

Whereas, actually getting off your butt and getting to the gym, or working on your Personal Development today, so you can have the necessary paradigm shift to take responsibility for the difference between knowing and doing. We all fall into this at times in our lives. For the majority of people though, you starve the ACTION and you feed the INTENTION.

Let's flip it. If you know what you should be doing, do it NOW. Get stuff done, instead of thinking about getting it done, or planning to get it done.

Your Choice ... Whine & Complain or Learn The Lesson & Prevail

"Love and Loss" ... article by Steve Jobs creator of Apple Computers


"I was lucky. I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation - the Macintosh - a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started?

Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.

I really didn't know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me - I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.

I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT.

I returned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple's current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.

I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers."

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking.

Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

What a day we'll never forget ... first, we woke up on the right side of the ground ... very grateful for that ... then, Jack and I had some quality time together ... then, we worked on our LLI business for a couple of hours, as well as some other things .... then, surprise, we found out that the video was live for Associate of the Month on the Liberty League Website, all over the world ... then we dropped off our end of lease BMW convertable and picked up our brand new Mecedes Benz CLK convertible ( it is so totally hot!) ... and then the piles of emails, and calls and im's started coming in and keep coming in, filled with so much love from our friends and family as well as this community, a community that was created one person at a time ... a community that exists no other place on earth.

I will never get tired of thanking Brent and Shane for creating Liberty League International, an opportunity that allows people of all ages from all over the world to change their lives, personally and financially ... combined with a community of people who are genuine and filled with unconditional love.

Wow, the day is finally here. Jack and I are very excited to announce to you, that we are officially published "authors!" Our book "Chasing Diana" has arrived.

Yesterday, we received the first printed copy, for proof purposes. Well, it is now ready to go to print. We pre ordered 100 copies which we will hopefully have in time for Hawaii. So many of you have requested signed copies of our book. We are filled with gratitude by your support and well wishes.

Our family knows the long, sometimes painful journey that we rode over the last 10 years, as a direct result of what we witnessed that horrible night. Thank you for your support through the very rough times.

Thank you, to Mr. Mohammed Al Fayed. When we finally met in December 2007, after the final inquest, we shared our tears, our anguish, and so much more. Jack and I will never, ever forget, the look in your eyes, when we all realized we shared the same vision for the quest for the truth. How sad, the full story still has yet to unfold. We will always hold a place for you in our hearts.

We want to also thank Brent Payne and Shane Krider. As a direct result of our experiences with Liberty League over the last 4 1/2 years, and utilizing the principles in Beyond Freedom, this is now a reality. We could never have found the time that was required to see this to fruition, if we were still tied down to our corporate lives. I have learned so much through personal development these last few years. There is so much I want to share with you, as to the important role you both played, but I will save that for when we see you in Hawaii next week.
